The Center for Digital Health Humanities is located in the Roccasinibalda Castle (Rieti).
The Castle is a rare example of zoomorphic (eagle/scorpion) architecture, and is decorated with fresco cycles from the late 16th century inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphosis. In addition to the frescoes, the Castle hosts a Northwest Canadian Indian shamanic totem and masks depicting myths of transformation and metamorphosis.
Recently restored, the castle blends together Renaissance Humanism and non-European cultures with advanced communication technologies.
